Eligibility & Qualification Requirements

1. Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)

  • Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree (M.Sc./M.Pharm.) in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Biotechnology from a recognized Board/University/Institute.
  • Desirable (Strongly Preferred):
    • PhD thesis submitted in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or an equivalent discipline.
    • At least 1 year of research experience in protein isolation from mammalian/bacterial samples, LC-MS-based omics studies, and characterization.
  • Posting Location: NIPER-Hajipur and/or ICMR-NIRT, Chennai (as per project requirements).

2. Project Technical Support-III

  • Essential Qualification (Any one):
    • 12th Science + MLT/DMLT + 5 years of laboratory experience.
    • Three-year Life Sciences degree + 2 years of laboratory experience.
    • Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences.
  • Desirable Experience: Hands-on experience in anti-TB assays, cell culture, animal experiments, or Mycobacterium tuberculosis culture.
  • Posting Location: Primarily at ICMR-NIRT, Chennai.

Key Terms & Conditions

  • Nature of Post: Purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
  • Contract Duration: Initial appointment is for 1 year (extendable based on performance).
  • Age Relaxation: Applicable to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Central Government norms.
  • Interview Mode: Physical or Online mode (shortlisted candidates will be informed via email only).
  • No TA/DA: Will be provided for attending the interview.
